YOUR ATLAS ACCOUNT

Account

Sign in to access maps saved to your Atlas account. Signing in alone never uploads a map or turns on automatic saving.
ATLAS PREFERENCES

Settings

Choose how Atlas looks and where future maps are saved.

Appearance

Save new maps to your account

When enabled, new local maps, local JSON imports, and maps opened from agent links are uploaded to your account. Imports started in Cloud Workspace go directly to your account regardless of this preference. This includes the map's name and details, component labels and notes, source paths, evidence, charts, connections, and saved positions. Atlas does not upload repository files.

Existing browser-local maps stay here until you choose to move one. A map created or imported while signed out stays local after you sign in; choose Move this map to my account to upload it. Turning this setting off affects future maps; maps already saved to your account continue to sync while you edit them.

Automatic saving is off.

Backups and recovery

Use Export > Download JSON to keep a portable copy of a map. Import that file in another browser to restore it. Browser-local maps are removed if you clear this site's browser data, so keep backups in a place you control.

Account maps are stored with your Atlas account and remain available when you sign in. Shared online links can be viewed by anyone who has the link, so share maps only with people who should see their contents.
LINK TO THIS MAP

Share architecture

The graph is encoded in the link fragment. The app does not upload it to a server.

Open this on a deployed Project Atlas site to reach people on other devices.
Copy named link creates a clickable project label in Markdown and rich-text editors. Copy link keeps the full URL.
REPOSITORY-READY INSTRUCTIONS

Ask your coding agent

Copy this prompt into the coding agent that is already working with your project.

The prompt asks the agent to use repository evidence, mark uncertainty, and keep secrets out.
BRING YOUR MAP

Import architecture

Paste a JSON map, choose a file, or drop one anywhere on the canvas.

Your data is validated and stored locally in this browser.
COMPONENT

Add component

Give this part of the system a name and a purpose.

Repository details Optional evidence, behavior, and limits
Optional measured chart

Use values supported by repository evidence. Bars compare labeled categories; lines and areas need a meaningful order.
ARCHITECTURE FLOW

Add connection

Describe how two components interact.
EDIT CONNECTION TOPOLOGY

Branch from connection

Save adds a small circular junction, keeps the original relationship on its incoming segment, and adds a neutral continuation to the old destination.
